Read literally, it means “make one thing,” or “make an A.”
Behind it are five meanings.
1.The hyphen “−” holds what is yet to be born: a product, a service, a business.
2.“−” is also the kanji for one, ichi. We make from zero to one what does not yet exist.
3.Not “The,” but “A.” We leave room to keep growing, without fixing what it must be.
4.Whatever we make should be of the highest grade: an A.
5.The ichi we make becomes value, meets people, and becomes a market. In Japanese, ichi means market too.
We deliberately leave the subject open.
It is us, and it is anyone we help.

Make A
new “ichi”.
Looking at Japanese culture through a global lens,
creating new possibilities and new value.
We always begin by setting the purpose.
The art and craft we work with today, the products and services, the businesses and companies: every one of them began as a means to someone's purpose, a wish for how things should be.
However much something flourishes, purpose and means drift apart with time. Left alone, it one day disappears.
By always approaching from the side of purpose, we create new value and new markets, and help protect the skills and culture of Japan so that they endure.
Drawing on experience in Japan and abroad, and on curiosity about the future, we keep taking on challenges in every genre. Activities that look scattered are all connected by one way of thinking.
Redefining how
we keep memories.
Spaces that begin
with how you live.
You Make A .
Let's fill in your blank, together.
From management and business support to building the systems that make things work.
We design businesses and services backward from the purpose. We do not stop at advice. We build the mechanism that moves, and run alongside you until results come.
“Make something you can see” is our way of working.
The businesses we develop ourselves were born from this same method.
From listed companies to traditional craft workshops to sole proprietors, whatever the size, we give our all to makers and challengers with real ambition.
Fees are surprisingly flexible, depending on the scale of the ambition and how serious you are. Experience has taught us that every challenge we join becomes our own learning and growth.
VIEWTHE VALUE
Ethical Lifestyle
The value we offer is born where these three multiply.
We do not build value on anyone's sacrifice or on things thrown away.
We choose forms in which culture continues, resources circulate, and everyone involved is rewarded.
Not only for special occasions, but things you naturally feel glad to have
in the middle of an ordinary day.
Logic alone does not move people.
We give shape to what is felt, and design all the way to where it reaches emotion and memory.
