About us
Message from the Founder
As children, we began with whatever we felt.
That looks fun. I want to make it. I want to meet that person.
Reasons came later. First the heart moved, and then the body followed.
As adults, that order quietly reverses.
For a long time, I was on that side too.
In a large organization I launched new businesses, worked across borders, and took part in management. It was honorable work: giving shape to a founder's dream. But at some point, I realized something. I am a person who can only truly begin from what rises up inside me.
This is not about which is right. I simply became honest about my own nature.
You only live once.
So I left the company and decided to put the order back the way it was in childhood.
Of the company I then started, people often say, “It's hard to tell what kind of company you are.”
We make art from washi, produce living spaces, and advise other companies on management and business.
It must look scattered.
But there is one thing I have never changed.
It is to begin by feeling.
And to put the purpose, “this is what I want to make real,” before everything else.
Then washi, space, and strategy follow naturally, as the means.
Intuition and purpose first; meaning and things after. That is simply how I live.
What I want to deliver is not washi, not a room, not a strategy.
It is what lies beyond them: the feeling of being truly alive, in someone. That alone is what I make.
If what we make moves someone's heart, or society, even a little toward the better.
That is my greatest wish.
Founder Profile

After serving as Executive Officer and CSO (Chief Strategy Officer) of a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, president of an overseas subsidiary, and founder and president of a joint venture with an independent management strategy consulting firm, he founded Make A Inc. in June 2025.
Rather than scale or records, he wants to create value that stays in someone's memory and heart. To enjoy the process from the bottom of his heart. To fill every day with stimulation and invention.
To that end, he treasures the intuition and answers found only within himself, and multiplies them with experience and knowledge. An “intellectual craftsman” who readily takes up both traditional techniques and the latest technology, and sees things through with his own hands until satisfied. And a “freedom producer” who creates from zero to one in any genre, working widely from art making and manufacturing to system development and strategy support.
Now based in Kyoto, he is taking on the challenge of building businesses that deliver world-class emotion.
